Within the last week, I've been asked on 2 different occasions if I will do private lessons. Well....it's not really abiding by the contract, as it would take potential money away from the academy, but it is really good money, if you feel like a little on the side. The one woman approached me in the video store and just emailed me today. The other woman is an upper level adult student of mine who has 4 other friends that want a private class together. Hmm....I think I may just do both. Now I just have to figure out how much to charge and when we'll meet. This may make me much busier on Tues. and Thursdays, but hell...if it can make me an extra 400-500$ a month, that's a fair trade as far as I'm concerned. What's 4 extra hours a week in comparison? Nothing.
